Lap-joint Flange
- Mainly used when frequent dismantling is necessay

Product Overview
The Stainless Steel Lap-Joint Flange is a two-component assembly comprising a stub end (butt-welded to the pipe) and a backing flange (slips over the stub end). This design enables easy alignment and disassembly for maintenance, making it ideal for systems requiring frequent modifications or corrosive/abrasive media handling.
Key Features
- Material Compatibility:
- Stub ends: ASTM A403 WP304/316/316L, duplex 2205, or SAE 405 stainless steel for corrosion resistance
- Backing flanges: Carbon steel or lower-grade stainless steel (cost-saving)
- Pressure Range: ASME Class 150 to 2500, with pressure ratings up to 32 MPa (4640 psi)
- Interchangeability: Compatible with ANSI B16.5, DIN, and JIS standards for global adaptability
Technical Specifications
