Cold rolled stainless steel plate is a stainless steel plate produced by cold-rolling process. The thin plate is thickness ≤ 3mm , and the thick plate is thickness> 3mm. Used to make corrosion-resistant parts, pipelines, containers, medical equipment, marine equipment, etc. of petroleum and chemical industry.

Cold rolled stainless steel plates are processed based on hot-rolled stainless steel plates. The processing process: hot rolling→pickling→cold rolling. Because of the cold rolled is made by continuous cold deformation, the mechanical properties are poor and the hardness is too high. It must be annealed to restore its mechanical properties. Those without annealing are called rolled hard coils. Rolled hard coils are generally used to make products without bending or stretching.

Characteristic of cold rolled stainless steel plate

1. Cold-rolled stainless steel plate has a certain degree of work hardening, low toughness, and much expensive;

2. The surface of cold-rolled plate has no oxide scale and quality are high;

3. Products made by cold deformation have high dimensional accuracy and good surface quality;

4. Because of its production process, cold rolling plate is widely used in various industries, such as all kinds of cold stamping parts, cold rolled and cold extruded profiles, cold coil springs, cold drawn wires, cold heading bolts, etc.
