Stainless steel pipes have different theoretical weights because of their different materials. The steel pipes with the same material, diameter, and thickness may have different weights due to the length error of the pipe and other reasons. Therefore, the weight of stainless steel pipes is a theoretical relative weight, and there is no steel pipe with absolutely the same weight.

The calculation formula for the weight of stainless steel pipe is as follows:

304 round tube: (outer diameter-thickness) × thickness × density (0.02491) × length

304 square tube: [(side length×4)÷3.14-thickness]×thickness×density (0.02491)×length

304 rectangular tube: [(length + width)×2÷3.14-thickness]×thickness×density (0.02491)×length

Density of 201 material (0.02491)

Density of 316L material (0.02507)
