The solution treatment process is to increase the corrosion resistance of stainless steel pipe.
1. Intermediate aging
After solution treatment, reheated to (760±15)°C and kept for 90min.. Because Cr23C6 carbides are precipitated from austenite, the content of carbon and alloying elements in the austenitic 904L stainless steel pipe will reduce while the Ms point will increase. After cooling to room temperature at 70°C, the martensite + α ferrite + retained austenite structure is obtained, and the retained austenite is decomposed after aging at 510°C.
2. High temperature adjustment and cryogenic treatment method
After the solid solution is heated to 950℃ for 90 minutes, a small amount of martensite can be obtained by cooling to room temperature due to the increase of the Ms point, then cold treatment at -70℃ and holding for 8 hours to get few martensite.
3. Cold deformation method
After solution treatment, it is cold deformed at room temperature. The amount of martensite formed in the 904L seamless pipe during cold deformation is related to the amount of deformation and the composition of the 904L stainless steel pipe.
