Stainless steel plate has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties that make it widely used in many field. When spraying stainless steel plates, you need to pay attention to some details, so what should pay attention when painting stainless steel plate?


1. Basic treatment, clean the surface of stainless steel plate. Use a knife to remove the residual paint, or use sandpaper to polish the surface, and then use sandblasting. After the surface is cleaned, it must be roughened to increase the adhesion area of the primer.


2. Spray primer. The function of primer is to prevent oxidation of the metal surface and then connect the topcoat and metal firmly.


3. Top coat. Because it is in the open air, the paint film is required to have good weather resistance. It is recommended to use polyurethane paint, which is a two-component paint with a curing agent. It does not need to be baked, and the curing agent can be used at room temperature.


4. Whether it is spraying or brushing any kind of paint, the application should be divided into 3-5 times, and it should not be too thick at one time. After the application is dry, apply it again.
