4. The weight of a steel plate is the unit weight multiplied by the area (m2). The area should be approximately 4 significant figures, and the weight of a steel plate should be approximately 3 significant figures.
5. The total weight is the weight of a steel plate multiplied by the total number of steel plates of the same grade and size.
